Day 1
I’m 43 and I’ve had voices and hallucinations since I was 18. I’ve had celebrities talking to me, many “A-list celebrities” (i.e. Hallucinations) both on weed and off weed. What has proven to help me the most at the end of it all is finding things I love to do, and then using that as a way to distract myself. 100% that is basically all I do. For me it’s music, although it’s hard to listen to music these days since the music and the singers or “lead vocalist/artist” in the song are all alive when I put on my headphones, it’s endless. I’m a ‘high functioning” schizophrenic. There’s always hope for people diagnosed with schizophrenia but it doesn’t seem that way. If you want to have more control in your life and less problems then just don’t do weed. That was something I never learned and it costed me a lot. Too much, is what it costed me. There’s hope, you create your own luck, but if I’m on weed 24/7 is that still true. Schizophrenics will say “Yeah, I can smoke weed and create my own luck”. The voices don’t allow me personally to do that.
